Terminator / Kavinsky
Finally Kavinsky is back with his Nightcall EP released on march 2010 after 3 years of absence...
This is the first time that seƱor Kavinsky provides vocals for one song, and it sounds incredibly good!
The song is featured with Lovefoxxx (from CSS), The Zombie and it was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (from Daft Punk) and mixed by SebastiAn.
(Just between us, a composition with such great names could not disappoint. Indeed it doesn't!)
The Terminator's video and Kavinsky's song match perfectly and give us an unforgettable experience.
Some fresh air

Today was a busy day but I took 2 minutes of my time to share with you 2 classical 80s electro disco songs of Stephen Falken (one of the two members of The Outrunners from Valerie Collective).
Song 1: Shadow of the wind
Song 2 : Visions
These are extracts from the EP "Visions" released in 2009.
Trust me if you like 80s synth music, it's definitely worth a listen.

Above your head
Above your head is something new that I wanted to share with you.
I did not expect to find such interesting sound when I landed on Anoraak's myspace.
You'll notice the original size of the video clip made by Milosh Luczynski and Pilot Jean Charles Blanc. To be honest, this new size concept intrigued me!
By the way you can download Above your head directly on his myspace.
You're welcome.

film trailer: Somewhere
The trailer of the new Sofia Coppola's movie has just been released. It's already been 4 years since "Marie-Antoinette", her last movie, was made. And now, she is coming back with "Somewhere", a story of a Hollywood actor who must re-examine his lifestyle when he is suddenly surprised by a visit from his 11-year-old daughter...
The French band Phoenix, whose music have appeared on both Lost in Translation and Marie Antoinette films, contributed once again, to the soundtrack of the new film.
The film will arrive to the theaters on december 22nd. Be patient.

Philippe Halsmann
Philippe Halsman has adquired an international reputation as one of the world's first portrait photographers.
The story starts when he arrived in New York in 1940 from Latvia with no money but with one camera and until the 1970s his portraits of actors, intellectuals and politicians appeared on the covers and pages of the biggest magazines (e.g Life) in Europe and the US.
The particularity of this photographer is jumpology!
"Jumpology?! What does Clubmoustache mean by jumpology?"
P. Halsmann created a genre of portrait: "jumpology" by making people jump in front of the camera, simply because he wanted to capture a unique, natural and real portrait of a person without the typical face of the people put on in front of the camera! This originality lead him to become famous and he was convinced that when people jump there is a lot to learned about their character and personality.
I have selected some photos of his work to make you understand and discover this photograph. For more pictures click here!

Merci Maethelvin!
To celebrate the coming out of the very first album "Atlantique" of the French band Minitel Rose, Maethelvin (members of Valerie Collective too) gave us an unforgettable remix...
Before listening this delight, I will let the album teaser introduce Minitel Rose and his world tour because generally pictures are better than words.

Baby I'm yours
I hope the name Breakbot sounds familiar to you because if not, go right now to his myspace and spend the next hour listening all his songs !
His latest video clip "Baby I'm yours" ft. Irfane was made by Irina Dakeva and a total of 2000 watercolours were used to reach such result!
For the lucky ones who live in Paris, the watercolours are exposed in the COLETTE store until the 3rd july.
I couldn't resist, I had to put an extra song "please don't" of the ED Banger artist to feel satisfied.
